The day Joyce was born 10th December 1999
Joyce is named by her parents. The baby was conceived unexpectedly and we hope that she will live happily in this world, bringing joy to the Tio family as she is the 5th grand daughter.
Joyce was born with cesarean section in Adventist Hospital Penang as I do not want the experient I had when giving birth to her sister Jaclyn (22 months older than Joyce).
Joyce was born a healthy baby, from the colour of her skin, her dark hair and her loud cries, we know that she is a strong girl when she grow up.
Joyce reached home and was taking care by the confinement lady. She was not only wrapped tightly and also tied up with a band prepared by the lady. She said this will make Joyce a good girl. I protested and demanded for untie my baby immediately.
